Membership Requirements For
Love Is
In past golden age civilizations on this planet, there has been the cherished relationship of guru and chela. The guru teaches and disciplines the chela, offering an opportunity for the chela to rise up to be an adept, one who is "like unto God." A guru does not necessarily want his chela to be like him, nor equal to him. A true guru wants his chelas to be like unto God and even to excel their guru.
We offer here, once again, an opportunity for a guru/chela relationship. Not with the creators of this website and organization, but with the Cosmic Beings who govern this movement and its purpose. This was not our idea to create "Love Is" but rather the inspiration to us from the Cosmic Beings who knew what is needed on this planet to change the consciousness from one of anger, resentment, fears and controlling, back to the center of Being in Love.
Therefore we have set up the principles of one who wishes to be a part of this endeavor in changing the consciousness of women and men to divine love and power. We only have seven requirements which are seven aspects of love, to fulfilling the mission of this movement. In order to participate in this guru/chela relationship and be given an extraordinary impetus on the path of Divine Love and Power, and ultimately your true freedom from any tyranny from within or without, you would agree at your own altar to accepting, upholding and then being in action these seven tenets. In addition, you will sign our Love Is pledge and submit it to us.
Love Is:
-
Trusting - Trust no man, but trust the God in man. Trust is having faith in someone or something. It is lacking suspicion. It is a positive attitude about life. You are confident that the right thing will happen without trying to control it or make it happen. Even when difficult things happen, trust helps us to find the gift or lesson in it. Trustworthiness is being worthy of trust. People can count on you to do your best, to keep your word and to follow through on your commitments. You do what you say you will do. Trust not the self, but the Self and higher Being in you. Trustworthiness is a key to success in anything you do.
- Respecting - Respect is shown by speaking and acting with courtesy. It is treating others with dignity and honor. Respect yourself, and others will respect you. Loyalty is being true to someone while yet treating yourself with respect. Being respectful means treating people fairly without prejudice.
-
Honoring - Honor is living morally, showing great respect for yourself, other people, and the principles you live by. Being honorable is to keep your word, displaying sincerity, integrity, and candor in all your actions. It is doing the right thing regardless of what others are doing.
- Kindness - Kindness is being caring, doing something to make life better for other people. It is being considerate and thoughtful about the needs of others. Kindness is showing love and compassion to someone who is sad or in need of help. Kindness is being truthful in your words and actions, not needing to defend yourself or engage in gossip or prejudice. Kindness to yourself is being true to yourself and not trying to impress others and being open-minded to always consider you can be more than what you are now. Consider how your actions affect others and seek to change those things in yourself that are offending to others. But be competent in what you know is true in your being so that your actions are based on reason and moral principles.
-
Being a Listening Ear - Compassion is being able to understand and care when someone is troubled, and give them your time to listen, even if you don’t know them. It is wanting to help, even if all you can do is listen and say kind or comforting words. It is listening without judgment and holding the immaculate concept, forgiving where forgiveness is needed, and holding the vision of their victory in whatever challenges they face. It is being a friend when someone needs a friend.
-
Being Beyond Judgment - Practicing justice is being fair. It is solving problems so everyone wins. You don’t prejudge. You see people as individuals. You don’t accept it when someone acts like a bully, cheats or lies. Being a champion for justice takes courage. Sometimes when you stand for justice, you stand alone. Being tolerant is accepting differences. You don’t expect others to think, look, speak or act just like you. You are free of prejudice, knowing that all people have feelings, needs, hopes and dreams. Tolerance is also accepting things you wish were different with patience and flexibility.
-
Divinely using Will and Power You focus your energy and efforts on a task and stick with it until it is finished. Determination is using your will power to do something when it isn't easy. You are determined to meet your goals even when it is hard or you are being tested. With determination we make our dreams come true. Helpfulness is being of service to others, using your power to do thoughtful things that make a difference in another's life. Offer your help without waiting to be asked. Ask for help when you need it. By helping each other we can get more done. Practice using your power to judge righteously and stay away from gossip, criticism and condemnation.
